Principal’s Message

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

Elizabeth Cobb Middle School is nestled in between the beautiful neighborhoods of Midtown and Old Town in the heart of Tallahassee, with mossy Oak trees and beautiful architecture that defines the charm of our city. Cobb Middle School opened its doors in 1955 and has been a staple for Tallahassee residents and their families for over 70 years! Our goal is to provide students a comprehensive and well-rounded education that prepares them for high school, while also making all students feel welcomed and a part of the Cobb Cub family! Cobb’s teachers are some of the best, most dedicated you will find in the state, and they support students in academics, fine arts, and even Career & Technical Programs! Cobb Middle School is Leon County’s Science and Applied Technologies Magnet School where students have options of electing to pursue classes in Agriculture, Robotics, Foreign Languages, Health Sciences, and more! Accelerated coursework for both middle and high school credit is available to students who desire to challenge themselves and to reach their full potential!
